  1. Lost and Found – friends on the lake (1133 Coaster Lane) have lost their large yellow swimming mat likely in the storm. If anyone had found a stray mat please text Steve 416-948-1309.

Many thanks – kids are missing it!

    • Hi Steve, I suggest that you call Doyle Plumbing (they took over Highlands Plumbing last year). They have a Minden office.

  5. Lost and Found! Someone on our road association lost their dock ramp over the winter – a small 4’x10′ with mounting brackets on both ends. We recovered what they thought was their ramp (same size), however it was discovered to be the wrong ramp (after dragging it across the lake!) as it has mounting hardware on only one end! If anyone has found or is missing a 4’x10′ ramp then please reply to this post.

    Thanks

    • I believe that errant piece of dock is a swim platform with flotation. The ramp we’re missing is just an old ramp – no flotation…but bracket hardware on both ends.

  7. We have a free antique wooden chest. Beautiful patina, but a slight musty smell inside. ( the chest itself does not have a musty smell. when closed.. 🙂 We have used it as a coffee table at our cottage, but are going to be using a different one. Pick up just off Trellis Trail. • Hi Robert, I did not have a response through the Bob Lake Site, so I posted it on KIjiji and someone from the area came and picked it up. It just went, actually. I’m sorry that you didn’t get to it first! Donna

  8. A small dock floated down to the south end of the lake. It is tied up to the dock of Tag Number 106. The dock itself has no dock tag on it. (This is a great reason to get a Dock Tag!!)

      • Hi Terry, Elaine, John and Anne! Thank you to all of you who have referred us to Peter. We’ll give him a call. John had mentioned that he dries his wood for two seasons prior to burning…does anyone buy wood from Peter that can be burned right away?

As an added note, a BIG thanks to John who supplied us with lots of bonfire wood!! We made two trips and I believe we cleaned him right out.

  14. Greetings…last fall we had a couple of nice inflatable floating loungers wash up at our dock. One is yellow in the shape and look of a slice of pizza and the other is clear but has different coloured baffles inside. Both are very nice quality. We are on a Parlees Point on the north side of the lake. I am guessing these loungers are from someone to the east of us. When we are there I will try to keep them at the dock. We have a beige/taupe coloured boathouse and our dock is made of grey plastic cubes…
